Congratulations to Julie Lopiccolo who was recognized at our 2016 Blue Ribbon Kick-Off Event with the Blue Ribbon Award for her dedication specifically to the field of child abuse prevention
At the event, Julie bravely shared her story, a parent’s worst nightmare, of losing her 21-month- old son as a result of a fatal drowning incident while in the care of a babysitter. Yet Julie Lopiccolo has found the courage and strength to volunteer on OC’s Pool Drowning Prevention Task Force.
Julie and her husband founded the Jasper Ray Foundation, in memory of their precious son, to proactively raise awareness and advocate for the safety of all children when it comes to their being around water. Among her many specialties as an attorney and partner of a law firm, is that of Family Law.
Thank you, Julie, for all that you do for children. You truly are an advocate for children.
